Froch beat seven shades of shit out of Abrabum after the Kessler loss. Wouldn't say it's a great win as Abraham is fucking awful, but alot of people liked him so fair play.

If judges did their job properly Tito beating David Reid would qualify.

The ending far exceeded the overall performance, but Foreman knocking out Moorer, coming off of the loss to Morrison in addition to 17 months of inactivity.

Good one. You could also say Gonzalez, who prior to that loss, stopped Irene Pacheco after he was KO'd by Israel Vazquez.

It was his first major fight, but no, there were a few fights between then...Valbuena on the Jones-Harding undercard, Salud on the Hopkins-Echols II undercard the night before Trinidad-Vargas.

Here's one that tops Foreman's feat in terms of time elapsed...

37-year old Azumah Nelson, knocking out Gabe Ruelas in Dec. 95 to regain the 130 lb. title., coming off of a loss to Jesse James Leija,

Here's the amazing part - also coming off of a 19-month layoff, and the loss (May 1994) preceded by a draw with Leija in their first fight eight months prior.

His last prior win was Feb. 1993 - against Ruelas, in a disputed split decision, which means he went nearly three years between wins.

Was thinking about that, but Pacheco was a bit past it at that point. Vic ruined him for all others, not to mention that he was two divisions above his best weight when he fought Jhonny not Johnny
