Very true! I remember waiting for the Terry Norris/Simon Brown fight years ago, only to see the fight postponed on fight night because Brown had a freaking headache!

 

Westfalenhallen, Dortmund is the greatest stadium in the world. Just thought I'd mention that. (Kaiserslauhtern has to be top 5, too)

Either would be spectacular venues if this comes off.

Maybe its just my endless cynicism, but Haye maybe heard it through the grapevine that the fight with Chisora was off, and so started to drop his own name in again. I don't know, I just have heard Haye cry-wolf too often now.

Why shouldn't he. He is one half, and probably more, of the biggest fight out there right now.

I love that Wlad is jerking Chisora around. This is now the 2nd time he robbed Chisora of a career high payday, while keeping Chisora on hold. Eventually Chisora will lose to some scrub, never fight for that world title and visit Ibeabuchi.

Danny Williams and Lennox Lewis are the only two British Heavies of the "modern era" that I don't dislike in some way. Haye, Chisora, Sexton, Fury, Harrisson, Rogan etc have all fucked me off in some way shape or form.

 

The only downside of this, of course, is the need to now listen to 2 months of Haye talking absolute bollox and the thick-as-shit British fight public lapping it all up. And of course there will the exercises-in-obese-varicosity that are Steve Bunce and Kevin Mitchell, and even Ben Dirs of the BBC, giving it loads, and crying about the need for something sexy, and how good this is for the HW Division, despite the fact that Haye is retiring next Autumn....

But when Haye is dying in a German hospital, in the cheap ward, I hope, it is all going to have been...........
