Good for Diego Sanchez.....

After the brutal war with Martin Kampmann, Diego Sanchez was a bloody, swollen mess. He had gashes over both eyes and his left eye was basically closed. He had just gone through hell and staged an amazing battle in the process.

The UFC rewarded Sanchez for the effort with a $160,000 bonus. Maybe guys like Fitch and Maynard will take note that this is how to get paid.

good for him. sanchez is my favorite fighter in mma. he's not the most talented nor skilled, but you gotta love his intensity and willingness to push the limit.

 

Yep, he earned my respect in the BJ Penn fight by the way he just kept coming despite the beatdown. And now, with the Kampmann fight, he is one of my favorites.

Man, to keep pushing the pace with THAT face...... It doesn't get any better.

 

For a free UFC Card on Versus, $160K is great. I am glad the UFC rewarded that kind of effort.

 

he should've kept his moniker 'nightmare' because he really is a nightmare for anyone to fight.

paulo thiago didn't get severely beaten down or anything, but the guy was EXHAUSTED after the fight and couldnt even stand up. kampmann looked pretty gassed as well after the 2nd round, going into the third.

How many Diego Sanchez's are out there?

 

There is only one Diego Sanchez in the UFC. But you may be thinking of Go! Diego, Go! on Nick Jr. Word has it he can scrap. Also don't forget the well known Dirty Sanchez.:bears:
