VOTE FOR REOPENING THE OLD MOVIE THREAD

    This can be deleted after it's been discussed but I think the old movie thread should be unlocked. Some people might want to critque a movie but not necessarily dedicate a whole thread to it. What if someone reviews some piece of shit movie that earned a 3? Do we really need to have a whole thread for something like that? And not having the old movie thread to put that piece of shit movie review in might make the poster just say fuck it, and not even post his awesome review of that piece of shit movie. Then, not knowing it's a piece of shit movie, one us might go see it and be like "why didn't somebody tell me?"

    So I vote to reopen the old movie thread and if you could give it a nice new name that'd be great. What say you's?

    Just post your review of a movie. Make a new thread. That is the EXACT purpose of this forum, to have a discussion about a movie in one thread. So you dont have to go looking through 100 pages for a review.

    I like the idea of a new thread for each movie, but mainly that's because I don't like reading posts with potential spoilers of movies I've yet seen.

    BTW, regarding the ratings....was thinking, one way people could keep/tally ratings would be when they start a new thread for a movie, to also make a poll 1-5 (or 1-10 if polls go that high) that people can vote the number of stars.

    I think that would require alot of work to make a poll each time. Im not sure, but it would seem like it. If you look at the top of each thread, there is a tab called Rate Thread and you can rate the thread 1 -5 stars. If people did that, similar to how Netflix is, it might work.
