I like Minter here... jab and move, he'd trouble Pavlik quite easily with those two skills and he was fairly tough, I don't see Pavlik getting too him enough to stop him

Yawn. More Hopkins agenda. Minter beating Pavlik is not remotely a stretch. And to be honest, any opinion you might have about Minter is suspect at best. And that is because you apparently don't know much at all about Minter since you believe he was a brawler. And before you try to deny this...
I don't deny that Minter is the better boxer in this matchup, but that's a pretty damn big stretch to say he does Pavlik like that. It's not like he was England's answer to Pernell Whitaker or anything. I just don't trust Minter's skin (or possibly even his chin) holding up against Pavlik's power or rate of activity. Unlike the Hopkins fight, Pavlik's punches will find a home at some point.
I see it as a hard match-up to call. I could see Minter outboxing Pavlik for a decision win. But Jake's scenario is also very plausible. If I had to chose, I like Minter by decision
