One I haven't seen mentioned that I like: Woody Harrelson

He was funny in Zombieland, King Pin and was also quite good in No Country For Old Men.

Bill Murray and Chevy Chase are also classics for the comedy genre.

Another good DiCaprio movie that is ofter overlooked: Basketball Diaries

LOL. I actually couldnt decide which list to put him on.

But its safer to add him to my all time list, since his best work is probably behind him.

agREED. He's one of my favorite character actors. Judging by your list, you and I pretty much have the same favorites/taste in acting.

Paul Rudd is one of my favorite comic actors that never gets mentioned.

Very under-rated and solid all-time actor.

Has anybody mentioned Jack Lemmon yet?

What are the best Ed Harris movies?

All I can think of off the top of my head are Appaloosa, Truman Show, Gone Baby Gone, and Pollock.

I've never really cared for Rudd. I like a lot of the movies that he's in, but not because of him. For example, 40 Year Old Virgin could've done without his character, same with Anchor Man though his sex panther cologne was pretty funny. Role Models was good, but more because of the black kid and the guy from American Pie.

I forgot to add William H. Macy. I really like him as an actor.

And as my all time favs, I forgot to mention Kevin Spacey, Tommy Lee Jones, and 90's Samuel L Jackson.

Speaking of WHICH? Who's seen The Sunset Limited? Both Tommy Lee Jones, and Samuel L give brilliant performances in it.

One of his most famous (though the work was a rip-off) is The Abyss.

Glengarry Glenross & State of Grace are my two fave films he's been in, though he had supporting roles in both.

William H. Macy has incredible range. He is great in the US version of Shameless as Frank Gallagher.

Gary Sinise, before he sold out to the CSI juggernaut, was a fine actor, especially in villainous roles.

Same here. He's good in a supporting capacity, but never to the point where anyone else couldn't do what he does.

Not sure I've liked any of his movies where he's the lead. Not necessarily because of him, but the movie itself.

good one. in asia they say he can act more with his back to the camera than most actors can in a close-up.

another good spot. haven't caught him in black swan yet, but fucking unreal character turns in ocean's 12 and eastern promises. if he didn't have a french accent he might be as big as penn or day lewis.

ok, here's another we missed: depardieu.

Just watched "Crazy Heart" and realized Jeff Bridges isn't on anybody's list.

Another over-looked guy who never looks like he's actually "acting".

Just been a smooth character who's never mugged for the camera a day in his life.

It took me a long time to appreciate Jeff Bridges as an actor, and I never understood why. But I agree, very underrated.
