Favorite actors

to each their own, i thought all three were excellent movies.

 

i'm not sure what brad pitt was doing in 'meet joe black', but it certainly wasn't acting.

 

Who would've been better suited for that role? I thought he was cast well and did a good job given the script.

Other movies I enjoyed him in: Inglorious Basterds, Se7en, Babel, Snatch

He wasn't terrible in The Devil's Own or Sleepers

 

Pitt is kind of tricky. Sometimes he is excellent and other times he seems lost.

He's best when they let him go a bit maniacal. He's usually at a disadvantage playing it straight, but he has gotten better over the years.

"Meet Joe Black" was just a poorly made and overwrought movie. Maybe Johnny Depp could have made it watchable, but it would have been an uphill battle.

I thought he was completely out of his element and over-matched by better actors in both "Legends Of The Fall" and "Seven". Good movies, but not because of him.

Like I said, he has gotten better with age though.
