How can a guy that just walked through the best guy in the division be "overhyped"? He wasn't even remotely challenged by the guy most people had in their Top 5 P4P list.

That makes no sense.

 

Anderson is too small for Bones but Shogun isn't? You make no sense little boy.

Actually most of them won their fights coming off the surgery.

Trust me dude, Shogun's showing had less to do with HIS knee and more to do with the knees of Jones.

The thing that impressed me the most about Jones tonight is how patient he was. He had Rua hurt badly a couple of times but he didn't rush anything. He just kept the pressure on and wore Rua down completely before finishing him.

Where is the weakness? If you were Rashad, how do you attack Jones?

Shogun has spent his entire career at 205lbs.

Think about it.

 

The truth of the matter is that Jones will dwarf almost everyone he fights at 205.

But it's not much different than the size advantage Silva would have against GSP at 185.

 

Jones is HUGE compared to Silva

Jones is a freaking Heavyweight basically and Anderson is a comfortable MW.

 

And? Doesn't mean he's not the same size as Anderson

 

Silva popped up to 205 to beat Irvin and Griffin so why not Jones? I understood him not wanting to fight Machida for the title, but he's not friends with Jones.

You don't have to. Silva is good enough to move up to beat those guys but he's not good enough to beat the best guy in the division.

the big MMA fights are usually either very boring or one sided beat downs. Rarely do you get a great fight out of a UFC main event.
