    They are both fat

    Tua via stronger knees.

No real proof of Solis' capabilities but Tua should be just the type of guy that an amateur Olympic champ can outbox

Solis was brutally knocked out by a grazing punch yesterday. Give me Tua.

Yesterday Tua also went full rounds with a guy who has lost more than won.

Yeah, prime Tua probably catches Solis at some point and wins, but styles are in favor of Solis

Tua hasn't even been servicable for a long time now.

    90s Tua knocks him out.

Even the Tua that Lewis fought KO's Solis.

You do realise it was a punch that actually made him fall down right, not just a random ankle spazz attack?

Vitali landed one sort of grazing right hand and Solis was done. Even if his ankle is fucked, it was just the icing on the cake.

His other leg was fucking jelly.

Exactly, his legs turned to jelly, Hut is acting like he just randomly fell over and hurt his ankle.

    That was the prime Tua.

The thing is, Tua always had trouble with skillful boxers. Both David Izon and Oleg Maskaev were excellent amateurs with weak chins and both came close of beating Tua. That's why Solis, who had even more skill than the two, does have a chance, though it is more likely that Tua finds him at some point

You seem to be forgetting that Solis is fat.

I've watched the replay a few more times. You're right it's a weird temple shot like Tyson caught Berbick & Tubbs with. From the front-on replay angle it looks like Solis blocks the shot and then topples over on his twisted knee, but from the posterior angle you can see his head rattle from the impact and presumably the twisting happened on the way down.

Still - getting stopped by a shot like that doesn't indicate chinniness, to me. Berbick wasn't chinny for instance. It's just one of those shots.

I'd still favour Solis over Tua.

That's fair. I'd still like to see him beat someone decent before I'd pick him over any heavyweight that could a) punch and b) beat decent fighters at his best.

Tua wins. Solis is a bum who barely beat Austin.
