I'm not trying to argue about this crap, but people should know that UFC pay is getting way better, it's not exactly the peanuts these guys were making 10 years ago. That is all.

 

He was a selling point in MMA (for all of one fight), not in boxing, or have you not been following his boxing career?

 

yeah, unfortunately I do follow Toney's career, what little career he has left anyway. He's basically a nobody these days, which is sad as James is a legend.

 

wow is this a serious post? since toney isnt in a ufc slave contract and has a name from boxing he was able to make more in that 5 second farce than probably all but 10 guys in ufc made in the entire year of 2010

 

Been in the 2010 Salary thread have we? I'm just saying guys in the UFC aren't criminally underpaid like you and others seem to think. Personally, I'm not sure why I even get into discussions about fighter pay, since fans shouldn't give a shit who makes what anyway. Why on earth do we care about things that don't matter to us?

Oh also, I don't think even the highest paid UFC fighter cracks $1 million in salary. What a world class UFC fighter makes compared to what a world class boxer makes is absolutely pathetic.

 

That is part of the problem with boxing, boxers are some greedy motherfuckers. nobody will fight anyone for anything less than a fortune. I think it's ridiculous that anyone makes 20-30 Million for one fight. That will take the hunger right out of any man.
