What happened was that she formulated a thought in her mind, was proven wrong when she asked a question concerning styles, and then resorted to typing some silly shit like that.

I think Haye hits as hard as Sanders but he is a counter puncher and Wlad know better than against Sanders not to attack Haye. Also, Sanders had more reach and he was a southpaw, both major factors in landing against Wlad

 

Sanders basically backed off and let Wlad come to him in their fight. Only after landing a COUNTER left which hurt Wlad did he go on the attack.

I think there are allot of similarities between what Sanders succeeded in and what we can expect Haye to attempt.

 

Haye actually has an inch longer reach. He's an inch shorter which counters that advantage, but I don't think Sanders is very much rangier than Haye.:cheer:

It's an interesting fight. Looking forward to it.

 

There was also a clash of heads, caused by Wlad, as he tried to clinch, after either the first or 2nd knockdown.

One thing I would allude to was a conversation which Manny Steward claimed to have had with Oliver McCall in the build up to his first fight with Lennox Lewis.

McCall felt that he matched up well with Lewis in terms of build and size and felt that if he could handle Tony Tucker, then Lewis wouldn't be any major issue.

Steward claims to have then explained at length to McCall that there was simply no way Tucker could compare to Lewis in terms of rawbone size and strength, despite their ostensible physical similarities.

Sanders was way stronger, way harder and way harder-hitting than David Haye will ever be. Don't be fooled by his paunch or his Magnum PI 'tache or the tale-of-the-tape. Sanders is simply the bigger more powerful man in every regard.

 

Haye would have no chance of knocking out Vitali, true, but he's been 12 rounds before and could do it again.

Wlad can ice Haye with a single shot, and Haye knows it. A knockout wouldn't surprise me, but I see Haye fighting scared the whole fight en route to losing a wide decision.

 

True but Wlad of '03 attacked Sanders first (it was his style back then) and didn't expect Sanders to hit him back, which is why he walked straight into it. He knows better here

I don't see it that way. I see it as an ugly, tedious affair. One man (Wlad) will show up to win and one mad (Haye) will show up to go the distance.

 

Haye doesn't have a jab, he's going to get fucked up.

 

Yeah the fight itself will have ZERO replay value. It's guaranteed low action. But as an event, spectacle etc it'll be fun and exciting since it's a big fight and both guys are simultaneously so dangerous and vulnerable. That's what I mean by fun.....it'll have an 'edge of your seat' quality live, for the first 3 or 4 rounds at least.

agREED. I suppose with Wlad's crappy chin, there's always a chance Haye could crack it, but it's more likely to be a boring, safety first fight from Wlad and Haye not able to do a thing about it.

You can't train your chin. Wearing a tshirt of the trainer for a guy with one of the greatest chins ever won't help him either.

 

Haye is all about image. Haye would sooner be paid $1m and have you think he was getting $2m, than be getting $2m and have you think he was getting $1m.

Thats why he is poncing about in the USA with the Angelo Dundee t-shirt and talking fiddy percent nonsense.

He isn't getting Fiddy Percent. But as long as we think he is, he's happy, cos for Haye, its about image, not reality.
