He's fought nobody, I'm His Hero!

This is what Froch has said lately according to reports.

Froch has slammed Bute due to Bute considering himself number 1 at 168, but Froch has hit back by saying that he's a nobody and has fought no-one.

Mikkel Kessler could be facing Bute in the summer which would be a great tussle, whilst Froch meets Glen Johnson in May.

I personally want to see Froch face Bute.

What is Bute's best win? Andrade? If you think about it, Bute really has saved himself a lot of grief staying out of the super-6 tournament, now with the opportunity to fight the winner of the tournament.

I guess that's how it is for a fighter who sells-out a giant arena in Montreal fighting the likes of Jesse Brinkley.

If Froch & Bute fought, all I can say is that I remember Kessler hurting Froch to the body....

Kessler hasn't fought since April (v Froch), when the hell will he get back in the ring? Surely won't be against Bute next.

St-Juste has never fought outside of Canada. If this fight was made, would Kessler go to Canada to fight?

Froch is a better fighter but he is no spring chicken and Super 6 will have exacted a toll. The fight with Kessler was broo-tal.

Bute on the other hand hasn't pulled up any trees. His stoppage of Andrade was impressive but the rest? Less so.

Furthermore his stoppage of Magee was telling as he failed to really improve on the performance Froch turned in versus the same guy, like, years ago.

Froch has fought and beaten far better competition.

I think Bute improved on Froch's performance. Froch had all he could handle against MaGee (if Magee took the last two rounds, he won), Bute won going away. But then Froch has improved since too.

Froch fought that fight sooooo relaxed, he was totally unconcerned by what Magee might hit him with. Magee was never going to win the last 2 rounds, as it happens. Plus Magee has not gotten any better or any younger in the interim.

I don't like Froch, but I'd pick him to beat Bute. I think his size and more importantly his reach will give him problems. The question is whether Bute can counterpunch Froch. I doubt he can.

I think Froch would be a bad style match up for Bute, too.

Froch would apply far too much pressure and his chin is too good. Froch is also a very rangy fighter, quite long armed and awkward. Bute loves to work at his own pace and a measured pace at that.

    3 points to make.

1.Bute is a infectious persona in the boxing world and team Interbox is not dumb.
2.Karl Froch is a monster: Pascal,J.Taylor,Dirrell,Abraham.....win,win, win, win! HOF
3.You can't diss Brinkley. He came back from the grave and took the hardest route possible to the Title shot. His showing against Bute was not bad.:nono:

Ironically, I do agree on point 2. I never liked Froch, of course there are so many white champions these days that I can afford to be choosey and particular. I never did like Froch but he is a tough, powerful fighter with some major scalps on his record.
