Mitchell Kane WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

Saturday's bout will be the first fight for the WBO middleweight champ since he KO'd Daniel Jacobs.

    Maciel is the #10 contender.

Not sure what undercard bout(s) will be shown on ESPN3, if any, but there is an interesting bout sheet for this card that includes former Olympic super heavyweight Vyacheslav Glazkov fighting Denis Bakhtov and former Olympian Alisher Rahimov taking on Rustam Nugaev in a lightweight contest.

Glazkov's got a pretty good jab. Looks heavy.

Bakhtov's face looks very swollen & sore.

Glazkov's a good looking prospect, perhaps one of the better ones the division's had in a while, but he'd be better if he improves his stamina.

Dennis Bahktov. I mean, is that loser still around? Sinam Samil Sam was beating him up in Germany years ago. He's not even 4th or even 5th tier. Any young aspiring heavyweight contender should be looking to fight Estrada or Dimitrenko. Beat them and you are in the loop. Not this Bahktov shite.

What does any of that have to do with Glazkov or have you never seen him before?

Yea I noticed he was kinda out of breath by round 4/5.

Glazkov's got a lot of tools, but he is not a three-minute-of-every-round kind of fighter at this point. His mouth is open too much, looks like he gets arm weary too easily.

If he improves his conditioning, he'll be one to watch.

There's nothing wrong with fighting a guy like Bakhtov in a prospect's ninth pro fight.

It was a step-up eight-rounder, and Glazkov won every round on the cards.

Bahktov is absolute absolute absolute trash. This kid Glazkov has SERIOUS ammy credentials.......I think he could beat Estrada right now. If the division is as bad as you think it is then any half-decent fighter should be fast-tracking right up to just below Klitschko level.

Yeah he does have that, he was seriously rated around 10 years ago as a prospect on the European scene, it was felt he was EBU material, but he lost to Sam and it was pretty one-sided.

You have a weird Jason Estrada obsession. Povetkin had twice as many fights before he fought him.

Bakhtov is exactly the kind of fighter he should fight for his first scheduled eight rounder and no, he should not be fast-tracked when he shows signs that suggest he could struggle with his stamina against better opponents.

He needs to get rounds in the ring and opponents like Bakhtov provide rounds.

Not a clue who's on right now but it's a good scrap. They look like super featherweights at a guess. Pretty decent standard too.

Estrada is a cute fighter who will be a great foil to any youngster who doesn't want to test his chin too early but wants to go rounds and learn his trade.

    Its just that Bahktov isn't a past-his-best talent, he's a really-past-his-best-scrub.

He's not a Ross Purritty "tuck up and frustrate" sort. He's a tired jaded punchbag. A Tony La Rosa rather than a Jesse Ferguson.

    No big deal anyways...
