It most certainly could be fun. It can just as easily turn into the sloppiest fight in boxing history - although it stands to reason that one or both could change gears and fight far more orthodox than is usually the case.

Tempting to pick Hamed since he has the greater equalizer - I don't envision Gamboa knocking out Naz with one punch, but could see the opposite occurring. Naz doesn't need to get a lot of leverage to get off his shots, but is that much more devastating if/when given that opportunity.

However, I think Gamboa is the more complete fighter of the two and would not be as reckless in this one. I see him surviving a major scare to take this by wide decision. Both fighters go down, but Gamboa piles up rounds whenever on his feet.

    Not sure?

Gamboa is still unproven, but let's face it, he's much, much better than Hamed.

All Hamed "proved" is that the first time he faced an elite fighter he got his face bashed in.

I fancy Gamboa by complete 1 sided beatdown, but getting knocked down a couple of times along the way.

The reckless Gamboa of a few years ago would get KTFO by the Princess.

This more mature, and controlled Gamboa would likely pick the Princess apart.

That's kind of unfair - he just turned pro four years ago. I think everyone tends to lose sight of his ring experience, which IMO is a testament to just how good he really is.

Funny that on his HBO debut, massive shit was being talked about him, and how Angulo and Kirkland had much brighter futures, despite the fact that he was only one year into his career.

    Three years later...
