This is a sad day in mma news. Since this will probably lead to Fitch being replaced by somebody fun to watch which will lead to a much more exciting fight. :Wah:

Give BJ Thiago Alves or Koscheck!

I really think that BJ got off easy in their last fight and the he would have gotten mauled in the re.

Any one other than Fitch and it's an exciting fight with BJ winning.

Alves, Koscheck, etc all get owned by BJ.

Kos vs BJ would be good.

I agree with Z. Kos vs BJ is very interesting.

Don't you think it would come down to whether Josh could take him down and hold him there?

On their feet, BJ schools him.

It could, but I think Kos is stupid enough to stay standing.

I hope Alves vs Penn is made.

In my opinion, outside of GSP and Fitch, Alves has the best shot at beating Penn at 170.

If Alves gets the shot, his muay thai will give BJ a hard time.

not to mention how much physically stronger and bigger Alves is.

I agree and that's why the matchup would be the most meaningful. BJ doesn't need or deserve tune up fights right now.
