Haye is going to talk about KO'g Wlad but once the bell rings Haye is going to walk away and hope Wlad follows him. He will then start this bending at the waist routine, hoping that Wlad falls in and David can meet him on the way up. There won't be any pressure from Haye worthy of the name. Wlad is going to have to find a way to hit Haye without falling in, and its just as well that he has always had excellent low slung rights and hooks.

 

And that is David's shot right there as Wlad has not come in since the first Brewster fight, and we know what happened there.

 

But that's the thing mate, do you really think Wlad will do that? I think Wlad will play it safe and pick Haye apart from range, he's already suggested that's what his game plan will be in the pre fight interviews. If the fight was in the USA he might wish to be a bit more gung-ho to rid himself of the "boring" tag he's got himself over there, but in Germany they'll applaud him whatever the performance as long as he wins, he has no reason to change what has been a successful, efficient gameplan

My idea all along is that David is going to have to make the guy fight, he has to make the guy come within range of his blows.

It is all psychological what Haye has to do, he needs to walk back straight to the center of the ring and wave the guy in once he starts backing up and jumping backwards like a jackrabbit.

If he falls into following Wlad, he will meet the same fate as the others, he has to get inside his head and the referee's head..and pretty soon the crowd will be on Wlad to come in and fight with the man.

That is David's only shot, but if he manages to draw this guy into punching range, he can knock him stiff.

Haye needs to simply walk away from the guy when he starts that, and the ref will make Wlad fight the man, mark my words as that joint will be booed down by the fans paying a lot of money for their seats.

 

Karl, Haye doesn't have the luxury of being able to get Wlad to come to him.

Wlad is taller and rangier, Wlad doesn't need to go go anywhere. He has mastered the art of boring, safety first boxing.

No fucking way Haye can just "let the big guy come into him".

A fight like that Wlad wins easy without breaking a sweat, because the fact is, with his height/reach/jab, Wlad has the luxury of not needing to be the aggressor or take any risks against anyone.

 

Haye will be leaning back, leaning back.

In the Brock fight, Wlad seemed easy to hit, with Brock engaging that very trick of playing it awkward.

Now, maybe its because that was 5 years ago, or because Wlad didn't fear Brock, but it seemed a bit easy to sucker Wlad in and make him miss.

 

I hate the Hopkins technique of "come to me or there will be no fight" ..and that's what Haye does,.. however, you do got to excuse people who fight like that against the Klitschko's.. ESPECIALLY Vitali,.. who eaaasily deals with any pressure put on him. It'll be an awkward fight for Wlad and infact a dangerous one given Haye's chronic trap-setting style,.. so on that basis the fight is interesting,.. I believe Haye has the right style to cause an upset early,.. but fuck,.. his life-bar will drain ridiculously quick if he takes too many pole vault jabs to the head,.. Haye isn't tough in the slightest,.. he burns out instantly, physically and mentally,..

True. Haye obviously has his plus sides, but he is not durable mentally or physically.

 

I can see why there's no hype for Helenius,.. Peter was "really" winning that fight before the KO,..

 

I heard Haye has trouble with the wifey, because he hired a stripper as his personal trainer for the Wlad fight and then took the "personal trainer" to a tête-a-tête training camp in Vegas. :crafty:
