My guess is it might have something to do with certain posters treating the forum with disrespect. People get touchy when other forum members talk disparagingly about MMA all the time, particularly when it happens in the forum. If someone was talking crap about boxing all the time in GD, the forum would let that person know their views are unwelcome.

Trust me man, I used to get really pissed when Andrew would get in here and troll. We got into it a couple of times. So know that I am there with you in keeping that shit out.

I just don't get it. I have a simple question that might prove I just don't understand the mindset around here. If the MMA Section is active and brings or keeps posters on the site, why would Steve_Dave constantly look to run it down?

And the bottom line is this, and I don't care how anyone tries to spin it, the rules posted by Buddy at the top of this section have been broken more by SD than any other poster on this site including the recently departed TLC. And it has extended long after TFK was gone.

This forum hasn't suffered with LOK or Hanz gone. Why the hell revert back. Ridiculous. Sorry but I just don't get it.

Not arguing at all. I posted the rules here for a reason, but I have been reluctant to argue against my own mods/admins. It's no secret that the entire forum isn't as busy in terms of discussion as it once was. I'm hoping we can all get along and work it out through discussion.

 

Let's throw some water on this one for now. I thought Anthony was the mod/admin in here. If that's the case, he should run it his way in my opinion. There's no harm in that, right?:TLC:

Still, as always, if I'm brought into a discussion that I don't really want anything to do with, I'm going to speak my mind. It's been like that since day 1.

 

Sorry, I meant to say the entire site, not just this subforum in particular. Did you still mean it's as busy as ever because I thought it was busier before? Therehas to be a balance between strictness and leniency. Not all subforums are governed with the same level of strictness. Historically, at least, stuff has flown in TAAA that wouldn't fly in GD.

Still, if anybody mods in here, Godfather seems a fair choice. He cares about MMA and keeps it civil in here.

I realize this site has primarily been a boxing site, but I think we can have two subforums where people can talk their relative sports in relative peace without one having to bash the other.
