What were the favourites of your youth? Say, 5-12, roughly.

Jurassic Park I & Homeward Bound I: The Incredible Journey for me, I think. Camp Heavyweights was a great kids' classic, as comedies went.

Slightly cheating as I was 12-13 years old when it came out, but by far my favorite movie growing up.

Earlier than that... tough to say. Like TWIN, my parents didn't think enough of movie ratings to limit what they took me to as a kid. I remember seeing TAXI DRIVER in the movies!

My parents let me watch almost anything.

I was watching Shogun Assassin at a slightly older age than the girl in Kill Bill was. I think I was like 5 or 6. We had (still have) it on Laser Disc.

That still remains maybe the most violent movie I have ever seen.

One of the best action movie ever, IMO.

My mother and sister always watch Harry Potter. I still see Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber.

Watership down had a big influence on my childhood and i watched it quite allot. Can't really say it was a 'favourite' though, it mainly just gave me nightmares.

    Love it now.

    Aliens.

Didn't even see the original until a long time later. Of course, both movies were released before my childhood began, but I watched the sequel a fair bit as a kid.
