Fernando's going to start Vargas Entertainment Promotions...may enter the ring to help the company.

Did he actually write it as "thru"?

I thought VEP had already been set up a while ago?

I look forward to seeing a 300lb Vargas leaning on the apron roaring "encouragement" at his fighters.

Fernando is so shot that he can't even remember having launched this company over a year ago.

    It's a re-launch!

I assume that's why he's getting his fat ass in the ring.

Nick Diaz, a MMA fighter with one pro boxing match called Vargas out recently. It's a fight he could win and against a guy who actually has a decent fan base.

I saw the fight, and I disagree with him...unless Vargas can't even lift his hands anymore.

It's a fight he could lose, obviously it would be Vargas beating himself more so than Diaz beating Vargas.

If Vargas enters the ring under 250 pounds he beats the shit out of Diaz in a boxing match. These MMA guys are as good at boxing as Toney was at MMA. Nobody currently competing in MMA could have seen this financial development coming 10-15 years ago (even today boxing at the elite level pays more), so if you were good enough to make it in boxing you would have stuck with it.

I'd beat this Diaz cage fighting faggot at boxing.

Now see, THERE is a bout that Vargas should be promoting.
Steve versus Diaz is just what Fernando needs to get his fledgling company off the ground.

I am almost certain that all 10 active Fightbeat posters would cough up the PPV money, or find a free stream at the very least, to watch the fight. Add the handful of Canadians with televisions to the equation and Vargas is pulling down 15-20 viewers.

And Diaz would have nothing for Steve. Anyone who holds a stoic poker face in sub zero blizzard conditions won't be moved by Nick's pitty-pat punches. SD brutally via TKO.

:bears: I'm way too much man for anyone that has so little dignity that they're willing to fight in a cage.

best evidence of a vargas comeback is that he is less enormous that previously

I haven't seen him lately, but last time I did, he looked more like someone who swallowed Fernando Vargas whole.

The funny thing about the pic LOK posted is that Camacho Jr - who has grown into a fat uninspiring little fucker - actually looks in shape by comparison
