So how exciting is this shit! Dana saying last week that within 8 months we can start to see UFC/Strikeforce faceoffs. Melendez screaming for a unification bout last night. Overeem/Bigfoot going at it w/ UFC heavies. Nick Diaz coming to make mean faced at GSP. This is gone be great!
Honestly, Zuffa now has all but maybe 2 or 3 of the best MMA fighters in the world under their organization(s). The possibility for huge fights is amazing. Melendez, Diaz, Overeem, Werdum, Souza, Mousasi, JC, etc all make fun match ups against the top UFC guys.
Very exciting. Especially Nick Diaz and Overeem. Diaz is just awesome, and Overeem, well, we get to see what he is made of, and just how legit he is at heavy compared to the guy getting smacked around at 200 pounds. Please don't include Mousasi in that list. He's not going to be in any exciting fights. I guess Bigfoot is fairly interesting too, seeing how he does against the UFC boys.
Gentlemen, we are on the verge of a potential GOLDEN AGE for MMA. Pulling top talent from both rosters to fight each other is gonna make me lose my mind with anticipatio.
