Here comes Khan.....:wack: Khan: "I ain't the referee......McCloskey took a lot of good shots...it was so easy....he come all the way here, from Ireland {:dunno:}....McCloskey quit, he refused to carry on, I mean, I mean, I would have knocked him out in the later rounds, I staggered him, credit to him for taking those shots.......No motivation for me to fight Paul again, my next goal is to..I mean, I mean, I mean.....I mean, I mean, I mean....you know...you might not believe it, But I am the World Champ, if that fight had of carried on, Paul McCloskey would have gotten badly hurt, at the end of the day, I mean, I mean, Freddie Roach.....I mean......Manchester is a great arena, I mean, I did this for my fans, this is business now, my next fight is in America, Welterweight.....thats the way I am going, up towards the top, the next division after 140 is 147....one thing about me and Manny Pac, Manny is my friend, I would never fight him :laugh11: McCloskey was going, a wins a win, and...to be honest with you, I mean.....I mean, I mean....." Freddie Roach : "well you know......sfhsfhsfsfsafsh he quit..I am not sure the question he was asked sfhsfs9fsdfhsdfdsfhdh I mean...out of my control....hurt him a couple times....asdhasfuaspfyeuy fhfaushfsafhsafashf well yeah unify this division or go to 147 and fight Mayweather or the winner of Berto vs Ortiz.......well the big opponents are in the USA but eh right now ahdsdhsdsdsdshaodoiwaruwereau " Oscar: "look I thought it was a good fight, no fight is an easy fight, he lost every round, Amir pitched a shutout, and nowhere here is a doctor, and the doctor stopped the fight.....look...the cut, you never know what can happen, the momentum was shifting drastically towards Amirs way, and what can you do, Amir demonstrated his abilities, we want to move on, Amir has a lot of options, right now he is the man at 140 and people are chasing him........."
No way, Oscar giving hints at ducking Bradley. "There's talk of fighting Bradley, but you know, Amir is the man at 140, he can fight who he wants" ::
Not so sure. Khan is flawed and can be countered, but he knows it. He´ll approach the Bradley fight like the Kotelnik fight. Lots of movement, keep his distance and land some quick straight combinations to the gloves of Bradley. If he fights Bradley like he fought McCloskey, he´ll lose.
What would have happened is that McCloskey made him look stupid for the remainder of the evening. When it comes to PPV revenue, looking stupid is almost as fatal as losing
They had just had the first good exchange about 15 seconds prior to the clash of heads. A good cut man like Miguel Diaz for instance, would have taken care of that and I think it would have been OK for awhile, if not for the remainder of the fight.
That's his best chance. Dart around like a baby deer, landing his little glancing shoe shine flurries and hope to score points. The thing is, Bradley is not Kotelnik. He's a very good, very well rounded fighter.
I didn't say he sucked. Kotelnik is a solid world level guy, nothing more. Bradley is an elite fighter, he's considerably better than Kotelnik. Do I have to explain that? Surely you realise that?
The guy who beats Khan better be a Zab Judah, or a Ricky Hatton.....somebody who can either make him miss and time him with something heavy, or who can simply outwork the shit out of him.
Kotelnik is a guy with a broad skillset. Broader than Khan's frankly. The problem is he's totally passive with range. If you wanna fight outside he's happy; if you wanna come inside, he's happy. He's hopelessly compatible, boo boopty doo.
Considerably better? I´d love to see that. Bradley would have a very tough time with Kotelnik. Bradley has never faced a crafty fighter like Kotelnik. He can´t fight him like Khan did, because he doesn´t have the handspeed.
There's a saying in boxing...something about styles or fights or something. Fuck, can't remember it....:Lok:
Write this down.....Khan wins 3 of the first 4 rounds, then there is a clash of heads, it goes to the cards and, well....figure it out.
Yeah, I just see Ashton Kutcher jump out as the scores are being read and then, and only then, will Khan realize that the plan has failed and its his ass on the receiving end of the fix this time.
Bradley would dominate Kotelnik, just as he has dominated pretty much everyone he's faced since ridding us of Witter. Speaking of which, Kotelnik couldn't even beat Witter. He's simply a better fighter, in every way.
Man, do I approve of this. I just checked in and forgot all about the showtime fight and Dog Jones saved me with his thread and I appreciate you doing it here. I hate spoilers with a passion.
Khan beats Bradley. Man, how could that fucknut with the air horn not get it taken away? I don't think I could listen to 12 rds of that. It wasn't 95% that Khan was going to beat McCloskey when it was stopped, it was more like 99%. It was all Khan's pace. If McCloskey had been doing better, the fight would not have been stopped.
After watching the fight..... my opinion hasnt changed. Conman will defeat Bradley. Con didnt look quite as shitty as yall made it sound like. Plus McKloskey has a style thats hard to look good against. Timmy the head isnt nearly as "complete" a fighter as his fan boys would like to believe. I think Conman wins an 8-4, 7-5 decision. Not that I care either way who wins. I dont like either one.
Because Khans people would fuck you up if you took their air horn. Agreed with all the rest, bar Khan "beating Bradley"....Khan might win, but he ain't beating anyone.
Nope, Bradley beats Khan. Khan is too basic and amateurish to beat Bradley. It might actually look somewhat similar to Ortiz against Berto.
Huh?? Timmy won't be coming into the ring at 160+, on gear and with some new facial bones and a beard to cover it. It will probably look exactly like Alexander vs Bradley.....except Khan is ahead on the cards when he initiates a clinch that, of course, results in Tim butting him.
As much as I dislike him, Khan is a much better fighter than that hideously overrated Alexander. At least he'll actually throws lots of fast punches at Timmy, even if it is in a mindless, robotic way.
