Ortiz is still fragile.....it's a tough decision for his promoter to make, feed him to Mayweather or Pacquiao make a few million. OR set a fight vs. Khan/Bradley or someone else for SMALL MONEY and the possibility of losing to those guys and NEVER getting the MILLION dollar pay day.... I say go for the $$$ NOW and fight Mayweather....the worst that can happen is Ortiz gets out boxed and KO'ed later on..but won't take much punishment....vs. Pacquiao it will be brutal but quick...
Pacquiao & his Peeps R DEFINITELY OPPORTUNISTIC, as Most Fighters R when they Reach his Level of Acclaim in the Sport...But If we're Rating "Fuck You" Factors, Floyd's is MUCH Higher than Manny's.... REED::
While a Floyd Fight Certainly WOULDN'T Hurt Ortiz Overall (It'd Obviously HELP his Bank Account & MAINSTREAM Appeal), REED has a "Pac or BUST" Policy w/Floyd, These Days...No, Ortiz Isn't a BAD Fight for Floyd to Take, but if Floyd Didn't End Up Fighting Manny Pac IMMEDIATELY AFTER an Ortiz Bout, REED would Rather Not See Floyd-Ortiz @ All... REED:hammert:
Nope its Manny or stay retired with me.I'm not going to play along with Floyd's bullshit and neither should ya'll.
Floyd is too economical and tight for him. I agree with Hut more and more I can see this being signed. Worst comes to worst, Ortiz will have picked up a belt again by he time Konman comes around.
if ortiz gets a big fight it will be against mayweather jr not pacquiao. arum wouldnt let pacquiao fight ortiz.
I don't see how this would be a bad fight. A young fighter coming off the best win of his career. Only Mayweather can get hate for that.
What's the word on Floyd anyway? Is he retired or what? He's getting older...if he stays inactive for much longer he'd better stay retired.
No, he cannot. What surprised me the most about this fight was how damn big Ortiz was, he was noticably bigger than Berto. Ortiz is too dangerous, I would be seriously surprised if Floyd fought the kid.
He was at the Ortiz-Berto fight. Everything is still speculative but i have no doubt he'll fight again. Only question is if it will be against Pacquiao.
I bet you he was there hoping for a Berto win, I doubt he expected Ortiz to win or look as good as he did in this fight. I have little doubt he would have fought Berto had he won, but I seriously doubt he's planning on fighting Ortiz.
I don't care, how much does Floyd pay you to post here? I hope you're getting paid to make yourself look like the biggest fan boy the internet has ever seen.
