Maybe not a MM.... hell I wouldnt be shocked to see it happen one day. I think this is my current dream fight to be made in the sport. Who would win?

Rios gets him too much. I dont think he can take everything Maidana lands on him. I think Rios gets stopped by the 8th round.

I'm not sure that either statement is more accurate than the other, to be honest. I'm with X, would be a hell of a fight.

Tough to predict since gauging how effective Rios would be at 140 is a question mark. If he's able to carry the weight and handle the incoming, I'd say it's his fight to lose.

Rios strikes me as someone that will just be carrying a little more fat every time he moves up. My gut tells me he's going to be pretty shit above 135.

Yup. Maidana has more raw power, and is arguably stronger(though maybe not), but theres no doubt that Rios has the better chin, and much higher skill set.

maidana looked sluggish and vulnerable in both fights vs. corley and morales. i'm assuming that he didn't prepare as much as he did vs. ortiz and khan.

despite getting hurt and dropped early in both fights, maidana was able to recover early and didn't seem to be slowing down much in the later rounds.

i'm sure he'd be up for rios. i pick maidana.
