Just watched this last night. What a strange movie. The lesbian scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis was very hot though.

Most of the movie, I couldn't tell what was real and what Portman's character was just imagining.

I guess it was good, but very strange. No replay value for me as I can't see myself ever wanting to watch it again.

My wife keeps bugging me to watch it. I guess we'll RedBox it this weekend, and I'll act surprised when it comes up to "that" scene.

I thought it was much like The Wrestler. The point of the movie is not very original, but good acting, visual effects and strong atmosphere make it worth seeing. I agree it doesn't have much of rewatch value

i thought it was a very good movie. looking back it was very strange and if you have to be picky yea it wasn't very original but i realized that during the whole movie i was very enticed and interested and almost on the edge of my seat for a damn ballerina movie.

the lesbian scene was very good - very intense, much like the whole movie. watched it with some people and their overall impression was that it was strange more than good, i thought the opposite.

Completely overrated movie. Typical left wing liberal artsy fartsy shit. Lesbian scene was the best part of the film.

I mean it wasn't a bad film...but it was too much of a mind job for my liking.

Liberal, anti-establishment, non-conformist, artsy fartsy etc.

I'm not referring to politics...I'm referring to social tendency....especially Hollywood social tendency with is very liberal.

Finally watched it after a request by my Japanese girlfriend. Funny thing was, I knew I'd like it and that she wouldn't because any film that has too much dialogue and requires any thinking she gets bored with. That really sucks too because I have a shit ton of movies I want to watch with her and probably 90% are dramas so I'm always looking through a shit long list of movies to watch and constantly coming up with nothing.

Anyway, I think anyone that likes a good drama will like this one. However I do agree that it doesn't seem to have much replay value but it's good for a first time viewing. The lesbo scene is overrated, I actually think the scene where she played with herself was hotter.
