    I'd take Hatton in this one, even considering his ineffectiveness beyond 140. Baldomir was tough as hell, but toughness alone never beat Hatton.

    Baldomir sucks big time. The only thing he had going for him was a massive cranium. Your average senior citizen has better speed reflexes.

    I could certainly envision Hatton winning

    I just think its a close fight because Hatton sucked so hard at 147 that even a bum like Baldomir would push him

    It's the kind of style match up (like Tackie) where Ricky would effectively be 'the boxer' and use his foot speed to fight in and out rather than piling forward trying to push his man back with pressure. I actually think he'd overcome the size disadvantage with something to spare. 8-4 Hatton.
