Holy shit! I just now watched the prelims and was shocked at the way he was slamming the hell out if Nate Diaz. Jesus Christ I haven't seen slams like that since a prime Rampage. This kid seems to have it all and he's only 21. Looking forward to seeing more of this kid.
Dude, as I said in the other thread, Rory was feeling is inner WWE personality. I honestly thought he was going to knock Diaz out with one of those slams. You are dead on. This guy has unlimited potential. Hell, remember, if not for getting stupid at the very end of round 3 with Carlos Condit, Rory would still be undefeated. And being matched with an experienced guy like Condit so early in his career really shows how good this kid is. I love the idea that he took up MMA without any background in other combat sports. He is the prototype of the new MMA fighter that learns all disciplines as he starts in the sport. The only problem with that is, unless your GSP, you normally lag behind against good wrestlers. Rory didn't seem too shabby in that department either.
I love a good slam, 3 good ones is even better! That was sick. Nate Diaz should be swapped out for Nick Diaz. Send Nate to SF.
