Believe me, I like a nice bouncing ass or tits as much as the next guy, but it's gotten to a point that so many users' sigs are stamped with the sht that I can't safely browse this forum while I'm at work, which means basically, I can participate in no more than 20% of the threads on here. If this is insecurity about your own sexual orientation, be assured that anyone who doesn't want to be, will not be presumed a homoexual. So tits and azz in your signature are not necessary if you've included them as proof that you're not gay. I understand the appeal. But I'm guessing I'm not alone in the problems these sigs present for posters, and it's not as if there aren't other, better, places to find and look at pics such as the ones you've chosen for your sigs. Last time I checked, this site is for discussing boxing. No? If I'm coming off as a curmudgeon or puritanical, believe me, it's not the case. It's simply a plea on my part for posters to tone down their racy signatures, with the justification being a., that many of us are browsing this forum while at work, and that b., it seems to me a small sacrifice on the part of the posters who currently adorn their responses with raunchy (albeit appealing) shots of women shaking their azzes.
user cp/edit options/uncheck "show signatures" You can uncheck images and avatars also (which I've done). Then it doesn't matter what the hell people post on their accounts.
like others said.. turn off sigs and pics if i'm in a long meeting and want to come on here and talk about the latest butt wiping styles... i turn off sigs and pics
Thanks again. That's a nice option for the forum. This way posters can include whatever they want in their signatures, and it won't inconvenience anyone.
I think Duran/Chavez at 135 is a competitive fight. Duran's speed, foot-work, angles and combination punching would be all he would need to win, but he'd absorb some serious punishment in the process, make no mistake. Duran would exploit with great success Chavez's tendency and preference for being set to punch, and the deliberate manner in which he selects and delivers his punches. But ultimately, given that Chavez was durable as hell, and would no doubt be in there for the duration, Duran would slow down to the point Chavez would have plenty of opportunities to dish out punishment and rip-off combinations to the head and body. And at 135, Chavez was not the lumbering, flat-footed fighter he would become by the time he faced Whitaker at 147. So it's not as if he'd be helpless, even against the dynamic offensive monstrosity that Duran had been at 135. The bottom line is Duran, for the most part, would dictate the pace of the fight, and as a result, Chavez would not be able to achieve the momentum and sustained assault he would need to win. But by fight's end, because he was so skilled, and because he had impeccable timing and brilliant in-fighting skills, he would've inflicted enough punishment that the fight would not have been characterized as one-sided.
Not to bash anyone, but how does someone not know turning off sigs is possible after posting on Forums for so long?
so am i to understand that you think there's possibly an explanation for this other than pure ignorance on my part? what would a discussion that ensued as a result of your "question" consist of do you think? do you think it's a compelling question you've posed? one that's worth pondering? or do you think it's a question, the obvious answer to which (my ignorance), you're interested in underscoring? and besides this, is it a possibility that you're somehow proud to be able to count yourself among those who were aware of this option, and have a desire to underscore this as well? either way, you've asked a stupid question, that exposes childish motives on your part.
I think its an absoultely compelling question. I cant imagine after many years of posting, anyone doesnt know that sigs can be turned off. It actually boggles my mind.
