His character wasn't even perfect in the original! What are you talking about? His character can be improved upon. Don't get me wrong, I understand where you're coming from. It's a central character to the film. I agree. My point is...we don't need to find someone that would present too similar a rendition to the Arcadian of the first film, because he was a relatively weak performer and silly character. They have the opportunity now to improve on that character..and that's why it's now completely open to choices. His look and quirkiness aren't that important.

Whereas with Laura and Leroy...you want good looking people, and in Leroy's case..a good looking person that can do martial arts. In Laura's case, her beauty was part of her role. It was aluded to by many people in the film...Leroy was dumbstruck by it etc.

Sho Nuff...speaks for himself. You need someone that can stick close to the Julius Carry template.
