Also...as far as Brock Lesnars in boxing. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=6077 Champion Muay Thai Kickboxer by the well. :shadow:
Also, funny that you mention Danny Green. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/s3H6R50xJug" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> ::
http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=988&cat=boxer This one will eat away at MWS. A KARATE guy. Gets knocked out by a 1-1 guy then laters wins a 125 world title. KARATE! Yes MWS. KARATE! The fraud martial art that has no bearing in MMA let alone boxing. ::
TLC, if you've been banned, how the fuck do you know what I think about Karate? :: And I don't see how that is relevant. It's true, Karate has absolutely no bearing on MMA or boxing, it's a laughable martial art. I don't think Troy's Karate background had any say whatsoever in him beating some unknown scrub for a title. Not sure I get your point to be honest.
What? You've been hating on Machida and Karate for years. Also, come on man. First you say a half-decent fighter beats anyone boxing walk on, then a KARATE guy wins a world title and know they have to be Manny Pacquiao for it to hold any weight? The whole point of this is, we are talking about this man... Silva's athleticism alone is a big advantage, not to mention being a southpaw with power. Any boxing training he's been doing for the last decade is just a plus.
Sometimes I think you have a learning disability TLC. By the time Troy fought that scrub, he wasn't a Karate guy, he was a boxer. He'd had almost 20 pro fights. That's some solid enough boxing experience. If he had 1 or 2 pro fights like Anderson, you'd have a point. That kick was one in a million, as is Machida's success in MMA :kidcool: (Which most of the time doesn't even resemble Karate, he's just an awkward, negative stand up fighter).
14 to be exact. 10 if you count the robbery against Paez. And at any rate, are you saying in the next 2 years Anderson beats up 9 scrubs all of a sudden you change your mind and he could beat super shot RJJ? Secondly, coming from the guy who still denies GSP's kyokushin karate base. Also Chuck did Kempo Karate, but seeing your comments on Chuck Liddell...::
To get the topic back on track. Nick beats Lacy for similar reasons. Lacy is so shot he cannot even be a journeyman level boxer. Nick is at least physically gifted and trained enough to win a decision.
