Further confirmation that the Rashad/Bones twitterbeef was more hype than substance. This is info that shouldnt have leaked. Takes alot of the pre-fight hype down the drain. Financial incentive to tweet is absurd. I talk shit for free......

What really confirmed it is how quickly it was dropped.

Seems to be, as usual, more smart business practices on ZUFFA's part.

Like the idea, and boxing is starting to follow the model of using mass social media that the UFC is continuing to embrace.

I don't see this as smart at all imo. It will make the sport look fake and illegtimate to a lot of person. This is not pro wrestling, we don't need a heel and a good guy who play the fans in a so obvious way it's shamefull.

Pro wrestling? It has nothing to do with that...

It is smart for the UFC to pay for large gains in followers because fighters would be increasing their popularity and therefore marketability/

VERY smart move. UFC will throw a couple meaningless grand away in bonus money meanwhile all the fighters will gain in popularity/marketability which will = more ppv buys= more money for UFC
