I was against Margarito getting that Pacquiao payday but I guess he got more than the payday.

Fuck him for cheating and for mocking Roach's parkinsons.

I will say though that this is why physicians are supposed to stop fights and why trainers are supposed to let them be stopped, especially when you have a fighter who doesn't know how to quit.

I also think it was very poor refereeing, watching the fight, I thought there should be no good reason for Margarito to see the 36th minute, but the referee seem bent on satisfying the bloodlust of the crowd and the tv audience rather than doing his job and protecting the fighters. The ringside physician should be fired if you ask me. Instead of examining the eye, he simple held up the same two fingers each time and asked if Margarito could see them. Now, possibly irreparable damage has been done to Margarito's eye and his career could be over and millions of dollars are lost for him.

Cannot say I empathize with the man, but a shoddy job done by that commission.

 

I don't feel bad for Margarito. But if he wants to blame somebody he can blame himself and GArcia. That tough guy macho Mexican heart finally bit him in the ass.

By the 9th or 10th round anybody could have stopped the fight. Margarito was not going to win and was too proud to go down. It was stupid for him to take a beating for no reason.
