I have to say i agree. I think Tyson had faster hands from what ive seen of Camacho.

 

Roy Jones threw 5 left hooks in a second at one time.

to me, Roy's handspeed, though tremendous, is kind of overrated... I think he moved his WHOLE BODY faster than anyone ever... but just straight up hands? I think Taylor and Camacho were faster

 

I voted for prime Camacho (just talking about pure hand speed, with nothing else factored into it), but have no problem with those insisting Roy was faster.

Roy would be the slam dunk choice for combination of speed and power. For pure hand speed, it's a pick-'em between them two, IMO.

I'm sorry.... but calling Roy's handspeed overrated is like calling Jackson's power overrated. Or like calling your boy Whitaker's defense overrated.

Theres countless examples, but the Reggie Johnson fight alone proves it. There was not a DAMN thing overrated about Roy's handspeed. It was off the charts.

 

For combination of handspeed speed AND power.... Roy faces stiff competition from that short, stocky pigeon lover from Brownsville.

 

Other than a few haters, this could have taken Sly's crown of "worst poll ever" .
