I didnt even know Paul Williams lost his last fight. I'm really out of the loop in terms of following the the fights since I no longer have HBO. Just happen to see a headline on espn.com about him returning to fight some Japanese guy in his next fight. Before I started reading the story i figured he must be coming off a layoff due to injury.

It's kinda an ugly, deformed KO in my book.

I know what he means. It was BRUTAL, but it was a sort of weird, looping punch, the way it was thrown and connected was odd, even the camera angle at the time was odd.

Very impressive KO, but kind of strange to look at. A weird, looping, overhead left.

Even more brutal, but not as picture perfect as Donaire Vs Montiel for example.

It was SUCH a Weird Punch that REED had a LENGTHY Debate about it...REED Initially Called it a Loooping Left Hook, then an Overhand Left...Steve Dave, Sly & Others Called it a Left CROSS...

It can't be a left hook, Sergio is a southpaw.

    Here we Go:scared:...

If a Southpaw Can Throw a RIGHT Hook, Why Can't he Throw a LEFT Hook???...If an ORTHODOX Fighter Can Throw a RIGHT Hook (They CAN), a Southpaw Can Throw a LEFT Hook....

I watched the replay of the fight in its entirety on youtube yesterday. In looking at that screen shot that somebody put up it almost looks like he wasnt even looking at Williams as he threw the punch. Like he was looking off to the side.

Not only did Tall Paul lose, he lost big. I know Sequoia that fall with less impact than Paul did. He didn't even look like he was shot. When a beast is shot, the legs spay, the spasmodic nervous reaction is evident. Paul just fell. I mean, he went from 90 degrees to the canvas to 0 degrees to the canvas, through every angle between and in such a perfect arc that one could claim Paul and Gravity were best friends.

  21. True but..

    It wasn't a hook!

It was the fastest dead-weight retard punch ever thrown.
