    I'd like to add

    Holmstrom vs Xing

  6. Good example.

Rishtikiati vs Mulnaran is a worthy example that most people overlook.

True but i think UGBK's example is a bit close to the theme of this thread.

Mulnaran was well beyond his best days when than fight took place. (although i agree the styles wouldn't have suited him even his younger days)

  8. Slice N Dice

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

People seem to be missing the point of this thread

Calzaghe-Lacy was not a styles mismatch, it was just a mismatch full stop

  9. word.

    I concede the point.

  10. Slice N Dice

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

    Again, Nishioka was just better

As Calzaghe said to his father between rounds:

    "This guy is shit"

  14. ILLUMINATI

    ILLUMINATI Roberto Duran

How i'm i a HATER? I'm picking Floyd to beat PACQUIAO...if he ever grows a pair to fight the lil pinoy warrior...

    List everything else......

  15. Foot-speed, reflexes, upper-body movement, general defense (incorporating foot movement, head movement and blocking), ring generalship, stamina, adaptability, punch repertoire, body punching (best jab to the body ever), counter punching....

  16. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

How was it not a style mis-match? Munroe couldn't deal with his style.

  17. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

    Whitaker v chavez?

  18. ILLUMINATI

    ILLUMINATI Roberto Duran

Wait are you saying he is better than Pacquiao at all the above? Or he is the ALL TIME BEST fighter EVER at all those?

I want to see how far your nuthuggery of Mayweather goes...I would and most here would agree on a few of those...

  19. I hug no man's nuts...

But credit where credit is due, Mayweather has ATG talent in all of the areas mentioned. Not saying he's necessarily the best of all time in any given category but he's up here with the very best in those categories mentioned...and probably the best with those categories in combination.

  20. ILLUMINATI

    ILLUMINATI Roberto Duran

Yeah back peddle a bit....but okay Floyd Mayweather is TOP 10-20 at some of those things you listed...

    Hut*Hut The Mackintosh of temazepam

Exactly. Most the examples in this thread have been horrible.

    Vitali Peter? Lewis-Tua? Floyd Gatti?

MAAAAASSSSSSIIIIVVVVVEEEE gulfs in class and ability there.

  22. Ugotabe Kidding

You must admit though that Holmstrom vs Xing and Rishtikiati vs Mulnaran are perfect examples of this

  23. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

A gulf in class yes and the gulf in styles is why they win easily

Ok then, Pac v clottey, a style mismatch in people's opinion?

  26. Hut*Hut

    Hut*Hut The Mackintosh of temazepam

    Nah, just another class mismatch.

I have to admit, that made me like Joe a bit more, definitely one of the funniest things I've heard a fighter say between rounds.
