Noons drops back down to his natural weight to battle fellow boxer Jorge Masvidal.

The fight is being billed as a title eliminator with the winner expected to get the next shot at Gilbert Melendez.

This is a great match up. It will be a slugfest while it last, but eventually KJ's chin will outlast Masvidal's.

If it happens, let me be the first to pick Noons over Melendez.

Really? I just don't see anything from Noons. Melendez should take him down and control him fairly easy. Beat him up a little with some ground and pound. I would not be suprised at all to see Masvidal beat Noons. What is that you like about Noons, Trplsec?

Noons has decent take down defense, and he will be the superior boxer to Melendez.

But I love KJ's toughness. This dude went 5 brutal rounds with Nick Diaz after suffering a broken jaw in the first round. Not to mention, Noons is a natural LW and he fought Diaz at 170.

And going five rounds with Diaz is no easy task. Tough guys like Shamrock, Smith, Santos and Daley couldn't even manage 3 rounds with Diaz. And Noons went 5 in a very close fight with a broken jaw.

People will discount Noons because he just hasn't fought enough to remain relevant but don't sleep on him. Melendez isn't a world class wrestler that will take KJ down at will. And on their feet, Noons will the superior striker.

Let the masses scoff, but that's how I'd pick it if Noons stops Masvidal.

Masvidal will probably win this fight by decision.

No, I'm not really big on Masvidal.

If he fights Melendez, I'd be more than glad to laugh at you while I drum up a signature.

Wow, so you'd be ballsy enough to pick a Top 10 P4P guy.. Incredible balls.

Figured you knew better than to bank on Masvidal.

You were the one that said you'd pick Noons over Melendez...

I personally couldn't give a crap about Masvidal. I don't even like him as far as middle-tier fighters go.

I am picking Noons if he fights Melendez. But I'm not confident enough to risk wearing a signature of your creating.
