Bellator 45----May 21, 2011

Another fun Bellator card ready for the DVR. We get two tournament finals on this card including a bout involving one of the best featherweights in the world, Patricio Freire.

The Light Heavyweight final will actually determine the first Bellator 205 pound champion. One of the finalist, Richard Hale, is the dude that pulled off the inverted triangle in his quarterfinal bout.

Should be a stern test for Pitbull.

 

I actually can't wait for this fight.

 

Patricio is a badass.

Very cerebral fighter.

 

To me, that was Patricio's most impressive win. Sure it wasn't a highlight reel knockout but the way he absolutely negated Strauss' size and wrestling advantage was incredible.

I will take great pleasure in watching him destroy Warren in July.
