Was Norton really as vulnerable to punchers as many make out? I dont think so, but maybe you feel differently. Here, he gets to strut his stuff against some punchers of varying quality...

    Donovan Ruddock
    Ike Ibeabuchi (ugh)
    Ray Mercer
    Tommy Morrison
    Ron Lyle

Since when was Ray Mercer a "puncher"? Holyfield hit harder than Mercer.

Norton beats Mercer easily. Morrison might take him out, but I pick Norton there also. Norton Lyle would go to Norton. Ibeatahoochie and Ruddock would beat Norton.

I think he gets to Tommy first, to be honest

    He outpoints Mercer pretty clearly

Lyle is a tougher call... sometimes Lyle looked like a monstrous hitter, other times not so much, that one is a pick-em to me, though I rate Norton as the better fighter overall

Norton is a way better fighter than Ruddock, but he still gets KOd

Ibeabuchi is interesting, because I think his power is very overrated... I'd give Norton a real shot there

I agree that Norton-Lyle is tough to call.
