Who is your most exciting 154 lb champion?

Hearns, Jackson or Norris all for different reasons.

One thing they each had in common is they could knock your head off, and do it in style.

  3. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

    Hearns.

Could watch him throw that right hand all day long. Fantastic.

I'll bash your face in typist. Show respect for the Hero's Of Monochrome Magnificence.

I'll toss in what will probably be the lone vote for Vargas.

I would vote for Terry Norris, but I still don't fully understand the point of that joke yet

    Either do I, Gloves.

Has to be Jackson. Arguably the #1 P4P pure puncher of all-time.

Had Tito's run extended longer than nine months (excluding the Troy Waters intro to 154 and NYC), he'd easily be my pick.

The problem with so many of the most exciting 154 lb kings is that their reigns didn't last very long, whereas the lifers weren't always exciting/entertaining.

So with that in mind... Terry Norris actually isn't a bad choice, his first reign anyway.

  17. Tito is a close second.

McCallum. Just a pleasure to watch. In his run as 154 pound champion, he had a bit of everything. He methodically beat guys down like McCrory and Minchillo. He also had the breath taking one-punch knockout against Curry and the devastating pummeling of Julian Jackson.

The dude was a walking textbook of boxing.

I gotta say, as much as I criticize Tito, I wish to fuck he was around today. He really was exciting.:bears:
