If true, Im not surprised. Mosley is 40 and hasnt won a fight in his last three outings (personally I thought Mora bested him), any fighter taking a whipping as Mosley was, especially against such a powerhouse as Pacquiao. Mosley has probably seen his last payday.

I always thought that Shane would go out swinging, but in this case he chose to take the easy way out and rip off the hard working viewing public in tough economic times.

I was very disappointed in his lack of effort and his non performance, and this damages his boxing legacy beyond a doubt.

He didn't put up much of an effort against Mayweather either. First round and that was it for him. Same thing happened again against Pacquiao.

Well, Shane needs the money so he made sure he lasted through it and lived to fight another day. That divorce won't let him hang his gloves yet.

Agreed. By all means quit when you know you cant win, but you gotta go out and really try to win and shane never did. His punch out put was an insult to everyone who paid for that fight.

Credit to Naseem for keeping him in there. That is pretty intense right there.

Shane did quit right after getting knocked down.

I may have a new level of respect for Naseem. While I thought Shane's effort was ridiculously lame, had he quit on his stool at that point, he would have damaged a legacy somewhat defined by being fearless.

Naseem's tactics were retarded going into this fight which was half of Shane's problem, so if he helped Shane before the 10th it was just band aiding a wound he helped create

OK Shane, so we're fighting a guy who's only really been out boxed once - 4 weights ago by one of the best counter punchers in the sport. He's now even faster relative to his weight and throws even more shots.

You've never really out boxed anyone on the back foot in your life. Plus your stamina is pretty suspect these days so you can probably only keep up with Pac for 4 or 5 rounds tops. But don't despair coz OTOH, you're a big puncher, you've got a big size advantage and your best offensive weapon is a shot Pac's shown susceptibility to in the past. Plus he'll brawl back if you tag him real good.

So I know what our game plan will be, listen up.......you try and cautiously outbox the guy on the back foot with counter punching, keep him turning and hope for a 12 round decision or late stoppage. OK?

    Seriously? Fucking SERIOUSLY? :shit:

  24. Credit? BULLSHIT. If a fighter wants to quit...the trainer is oblidged to let him quit. A fighter knows when he's had enough. Not listening to that is how things like McClellan's tragedy could happen.

  25. WISDOM right here!!!

  26. word. Nasim is an overrated cunt. Just because he has the prefix "brother", people think he's some guru or some shit.

Anyone with any sense (like me) knew that Shane's ONLY shot in this fight was to go all out from the opening bell and try to put in some early hurt on Pacquiao (especially to the body).

How de hell is spurt fighting old slower Shane, who was never a boxer to begin with, suddenly going to outbox over 12 rounds the fastest, fittest man in the sport???

sly you have never been a fan of shane, so it doesnt matter

Well Sly recognized the limitations in Shane that Nazim evidently couldnt cotton on to about 11 bloody years ago.

Naz' strategy was the equivalent of captain Titanic deliberately aiming for an iceberg

    That's not true.
