Yeah. How did all that mass get added??? You can fill out a bit and rehydrate, but a bigger face, a thicker more vascular neck?? :wack:
You realize that steroids aren't going to add or distribute mass in any special magical way, right? Mass is mass. Steroids just make it easier to add or retain (depending on your goals).
Yes and there is crux of the matter. As I said during the Mayweather-Pacquaio debacle, it would not be long before everybody was tarred with the same brush. In my opinion, the following fighters are using something "illegal" Pacquaio Wlad Andre Ward Ortiz Adamek Khan Haye JC Chavez Jr. Bernard Hopkins Felix Sturm
I don't think Vitali is doping. Much of the "Vitali is Doping" crap stems from his having failed a test, under the auspices of his own national commission, when he was coming back off an injury and had been using drugs prescribed by a GP, who was ignorant of any need to stay within certain parameters. Vitali has a unique style, he arm-punches and only puts mustard on the shot at the very end, has a fantastic sense of distance and great natural physical advantages. Consequently, he doesn't get hit a lot and the 4 year lay off- prompted by the same injuries mentioned above, has aided his longevity. He doesn't strike me as somebody for whom gear would be needed. He isn't a flash-harry of a fighter, and already has massive strength and size advantages. What I didn't alluded to in my post is WHY fighters would be taking gear. For Ortiz, the guy is a weak-minded sort who needs something to give him pep and boost his confidence. So he takes something that makes him more man than he really is. For Khan, the kid is an innate shortcut-and-bullshit-merchant to begin with who evidently lacked stamina and chin in the first place. For Wlad, he knows his next loss is probably his last loss, he felt the scorn of the yanks, who were juicing anyways, so he probably figured what-the-fuck and went at it too. Doesn't seem to have improved him much but it adds strength, lean mass, aids recovery. Manny Steward probably added more to Wlads game than the gear. For Hopkins- the man is an innate cheat and liar and all round dumb thug. If you told him that chicken vol-au-vants consumed between rounds would give him an edge he would do it. He's old now, needs the money, needs the acclaim, so its obvious. This is just conjecture on my behalf. In any case, I look for motive. Who would be motivated to cheat, even just a "little bit", and for what reasons???
@how Irish says Vitali isn't juicing, then goes on to describe people who are.. heaping scorn on every single one of them.. Except for poor widdle Wladdy who had to start because of the big ol' mean Yanks :-( PLUS everyone else is doing it anyway, and it doesn't even help him much!
Again, Khan is not on the juice. I know he's pretty stupid but to knowingly take steroids and agree to a blood test would put him on a new level
Khan is probably not on steroids.. he might be on EPO, though. Depending on the blood testing protocol, he might be able to get around it.
Wait? Berto fought another Junior Welterweight? Over whom he didn't enjoy a significantly large size advantage? And his conclusion is that he lost because Oritz was on PEDs? Maybe someone should remind Berto of his resume prior to the Ortiz fight, and the fact he'd done nothing but beat up on little guys moving up.
Berto was the most protected "Champ" I have seen in quite some time. Old ass Mosley was a big favorite when they were supposed to fight. That should tell you what people think of Berto.
I wouldn't be so sure. Two all time greats rendered a very old Mosley ineffective. That doesn't mean that Berto would have the same success.
:atu::atu: I don't thing the guy is juicing, and rather than give me an argument to the contrary, backed up with some sort of a solid fact-based opinion, however conjectured, you would rather throw a hissy-fit. I never heaped scorn on Pacquaio. But I did heap scorn on Khan. Maybe thats the problem. Is there sand in your infibulated vagina because of it??
Khan and Pacquiao have done unprecedented things in boxing and both should be looked upon with great suspicion. Pacquiao went from 112 to 150 and kicked ass along the way. Khan went from 135 to 140 and kicked ass along the way. I'd say if one is guilty, they both are.
I would say if someone is willing to undergo any kind of testing to prove he is innocent then he should not have that suspicion over him. I mean, how else is he meant to prove it???
Sure. But unprecedented is not the only way to look at it. Before too long we will be wondering what old arse Archie Moore was on, or Jimmy Wilde and Mickey Walker etc. Pac just strikes me as being most conniving, a politician. Khan is dumb as a bag of bricks and probably easy to manipulate, and too gutless to turn down the advantages doping brings to his chinny, gassing ass. Wlad...well I won't say, I've been accused of defending him, let others point the finger so.
I don't think khan or wlad are on anything. I don't know why, I just have some weird feeling on pac, i wish i didn't, but i just do.
You didn't even mention Pacquiao in that post. You heaped scorn on every single other fighter when listing your reasons "WHY" they're juicing, except Wlad, who you made excuses for. Vitali is, of course, as innocent as your mother before her first uncircumcised soccer hooligan dick. You're seriously gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Also, fwiw there will be random blood and urine testing for both Floyd and Ortiz leading up to their fight.
