I see two or three likely scenarios outta this one. How about you fellas?

If it makes a difference to some of you, this is set down for 15 rounds.

    Scenario 1: Lewis KO 4
Scenario 2: Lewis jabs and holds his way to a decision
    Scenario 3: Not applicable.

Lewis is too big for Frazier I think and I'm possibly Frazier's number one defender on this site.

It would be too hard for Joe to close that long distance effectively... If Joe had been equipped with a jab, I'd give him a better shot... Joe goes down swinging after taking a lot of punishment

I thought you said he'd "outbox" Tua?

What does one have to do with the other?

You don't have to have a jab to be able to box

If your notion of boxing is limited to stick and move, that's on you

I suggest you watch some Eder Jofre or wilfredo Gomez

Hit and don't get hit isn't dependent upon jabbing... Jabbing is just one of many methods

Roy jones mustve had 30 fights where he didn't throw any real jabs.
What was he doing to all of those guys, outslugging them?

RJJ had otherworldly speed and reflexes. Frazier was slow and easy to hit. Tua would flatten him.

Frazier was neither of those things really

Tua was both of them times a thousand

Tua never flattened a quality opponent in his life.

Talking about a guy who was Hasim Rahman's (one of the worst legit HW Champs in history) play-thing

Frazier makes Tua quit seven days a week.

You're suggesting that Frazier would get on his toes and use his long ramrod jab and straight right hand to outbox Tua for 12 rounds, like Rahman did? That's almost as silly as the suggestion the comparison between RJJ & Frazier.

You're talking about putting a smaller fighter with a mediocre chin, who likes to brawl, in front of David Tua. A guy who got put down by fucking Oscar Bonavena. Prime for prime, Tua FLATTENS him.

But we've already been down this path before..

No, I'm not suggesting that. Perhaps you'd like to digest my post, in place of skimming it.

You did provide me with a laugh, however, with your description of Rahman, "boxing on his toes with the long jab," (paraphrased). Only Tua could make somebody like Rahman appear to be doing that in any decent measure

    We've gone through this before...

Frazier the greater more accomplished fighter but head to head Tua flattens his ass!!!!

In an MM we're talking about the prime versions. The Tua of the Ike and Ruiz fights...goes through Frazier like a hot knife through butter...

Rahman actually had a very good 1-2, I don't think anyone would deny that. Frazier would not be able to replicate his effort in that fight (which was a draw anyway, though I did think Rahman won it) in a thousand years. Aside from that the Tua that fought Rahman was anything but "prime."

Once again, tell me why the slow, tiny Oscar Bonavena could hurt Frazier, but David Tua wouldn't be able to.

It's a matter of styles. Like Sly said, Frazier is the more accomplished and better all-around fighter, but Tua knocks him out 10 out of 10 times.

I never said he would, & for the second time, I'm explicitely stating he would not.

I don't mind debate, Gloves, but people have to hear to speak.

I understand that, but why even bring him up as an example, then? Tua had problems with guys who could move and jab, Frazier doesn't fit the description. He's smaller, doesn't have the world's greatest chin, and liked to brawl. He's almost made-to-order for a guy like Tua. The only potential wildcard is Frazier's hook to the body, and I don't really see that being an issue.

Yup 3 likely scenarios sounds about right.

    Lewis by HOMOCIDE in 1
    Lewis by HOMOCIDE in 2
    Lewis by HOMOCIDE in 3

Little chinny one dimensional too brave for his own good Mr.Frazier would force the issue unlike his clone David Tua and it would in turn force Lennox to fight back aggressively and it would spell doom. Frazier you would get demolished. Are you listening ?

Lewis by mid-late TKO. Maybe even flat-out one punch K.O.

Lewis too big, to strong. Lewis could have one of his aggressive nights and hit Joe coming in and stop him a al Foreman - or he could outbox Joe. Pound-for-pound Joe is the better fighter but size matters in the heavyweights and Lennox knew how to use his size better than anyone. As long as he was in shape, Lewis wins.
    Lewis KO4 Frazier or
    Lewis W15 Frazier

    Gibola

PS - If you could create a 6'2'' 230lb Frazier, he would beat Lennox no question.

I see two or three likely scenarios too.

Lewis knocks him out, Lewis really knocks him out, and Lewis really really knocks him out.

Lewis in 4 or 5 rounds. Big right uppercuts.

Frazier wins simply because Lewis never fought 15 rounds
