Shane Carwin trimmed down for UFC 131

    I like carwin but love ids. He will bomb Shane out in 1. I'm just curious how ids iron chin responds to thehardest punch in the business.

    Didn't Carwin actually bulk up for the Lesnar fight? He was around 250 in the fights previous to it, I believe.

    He was 265 for the Mir fight. He bulked up after the weighin for the lesnar fight tho. He looked much bigger come fight time.

    Hmm, I could have sworn he was 255 or so. Ah well, my bad.

    I don't think this fight will go more than 1 round. Both of these guys have huge egos about their stand up striking ability. Someone is going to sleep.

    if you go to youtube and type in weigh in for the fight they have it. I too thought that yesterday, but checked and he weighed in at the 265 mark. Unless i head it wrong, which is possible.

    Here are Shane's weights since entering the UFC:

    UFC 84 Carwin 252 (5/24/08)
    UFC 89 Carwin 264 (9/18/08)
    UFC 96 Carwin 259.5 (3/7/09)
    UFC 111 Carwin 265 (3/27/10)
    UFC 116 Carwin 265 (7/3/10)

    And oddly, Carwin's first MMA fight was in the WEC back in 2005 and he weighed 285 pounds for that fight.......Wow...
