    I hope for Haye's sake he doesn't think Price can replicate Wlad's style too easily. Price is big but I think it ends there. Wlad is just way looser and way more fluid.

    Afolabi is a decent choice for Wlad but I think neither man has the perfect partner.

    Wlad should have offered Herbie Hide the job. Herbie probably didn't fancy hanging around with Vitali again.

    Ha, I don't want to turn this into a Haye vs Wlad thread, but I have been watching all of Wlads worst winning performances......Haye's best chance is if Wlad "falls in" and Haye can do him with something on the way in. If Wlad keeps it tight and has landed a few decent shots and extends the fight into the 5th or 6th round, Haye will pretty much fold on his own. Not a fan of Manny making predictions or Wlad keeping the "magic hand" gag going, but the videos of Haye winning that you can see in the background are a nice way of keeping his mind on the job.

    Do you know what's weird, Liverpools boxing success. Liverpool is one of the worlds great cities, has given alot to the world, but post-Conteh they've never really had a boxing "boom" ala Manchester or Sheffield. I would have thought scouseland would be a hotbed of boxing talent.

    He can punch and looks to have real raw-bone strength.....hard to know much more beyond that. Dallas didn't look all that, and there is still the issue of Prices chin. But a big right hand and some size will take you a long way, in this era of Boxers-Turned-Basketball-Players.:lol:

    Chisora he beats because Chisora punches way too wide. Fury is too easy to find with the right hand and is also not dedicated to the game as he should be. McDermott will be tough, as he knows how to tuck up and roll in under some of the shots.

    The fight wasn't long enough to make a firm decision either way on Price mate, but he can certainly whack with the right hand. His main problem, I fear, is that he has a truly awful chin for such a big lad. If he steps up in class, I expect him to struggle.

    He might improve as he goes on, fill out a bit, get some serious conditioning sessions in, much of his "Poor chin" is being made out of being clocked during a break.
