Who's the worst forum nuthugger in terms of objectivity?

I was agreeing specifically with one part of the analogy, the Bowe vs Foreman bit, and the rationale he espoused in showing how people might reach a certain conclusion. I didn't agree with the conclusion, I merely agreed with how he showed certain people might reach it.

We are talking about the guy who beat 90% of the world's best middleweights before he ever got a shot at the title, was then robbed of a well-earned victory against Vito Antuofermo in an outrageous draw verdict, cut Alan Minter to shreds to win it and then held on to it with an iron fist for 7 years, right?

The Marvin Hagler ILLU and I were referencing is easily one of the 3 or 4 greatest middlewieghts ever... the Castillo we were referencing is not to be found among the 20 greatest lightweights ever

The DLH that Mayweather cautiously outpointed was two divisions below that Hagler fellow and at the end of the line... that same DLH when still at least active tried his hand at 160 and could barely scrape against Felix Sturm before essentially capitulating to a Bernard Hopkins who boxed him as if he were George Foreman

Yet somehow, this is transferred to Mayweather being able to compete with Marvin fucking Hagler, and furthermore, Hagler's accomplishments are whitewashed to a degree that somehow makes it feasible that Jose Luis Castillo, a good and respectable but hardly great Lightweight, can be placed on his level??? that's just WRONG

Marvin Hagler was in fact a far superior fighter to Jose Luis Castillo by any measure... if something like that can not be universally agreed on, then there is no foundation... anyone can simply state anything they wish to make their argument, no matter how ridiculous it is... Such a practice should be denounced at every turn

Suggesting that a guy like Vitali would be stylistic nightmare and simply too powerful with the right hand for a guy like Joe Frazier is not nuthugging. It's a decision based off-spec and and off available reliable evidence.

Suggesting that a guy like Wlad would cut Marciano into ribbons inside of 4 rounds with his jab and force the fight to be stopped under todays rules is not nuthugging. That's a pretty likely scenario.

Suggesting that Marciano beats up Wlad because Marciano was Champ during an era when women knew their place, and IKE was president {That's Eisenhower, not Ibeabuchi} and the God-Damned Commies were on the Run {even though they were in Space first} is nuthugging.

Suggesting that Wlad has a history of stamina issues and that if Rocky could avoid the incoming for 6 rounds and avoid being busted up too bad, that he could wear down and stop a man 50lbs heavier and 9 inches taller is not nuthugging. Its a stretch. But its possible...based on the available, pertinent evidence.

 

Duran is inarguably one of the greatest fighters of all time, he is damn near impossible to overrate. Hut isn't a nuthugger, this forum is just on some serious revisionist history shit when it comes to Duran.
