    Huh???...

In ADDITION to Punching Power, Hatton was Naturally BIGGER, STRONGER & QUICKER w/his Hands & Feet...Hatton TOOK a Better Shot as Well & DIDN'T PANIC @ the Site of his Own Blood, as Diaz did...Hatton Operated Similarly to Diaz, Only BETTER & More EFFICIENTLY...Sure, Hatton Held ALOT, but he Also Kept TREMENDOUS Pressure on his Opponents THROUGHOUT the Fight...Hatton Fought w/More Raw FURY than Diaz Did...

Kostya Tszyu is Better than ANY Win on Diaz's Resume...Moreso, Hatton DIDN'T Need a GIFT Over Paulie Malignaggi of All People...Hatton DOMINATED him...Diaz Actually LOST to the Same Cat Twice, AFTER Hatton had Already Beaten him!!!...

Going Fuuuuurther, Hatton NEVER Lost to Nate Campbell Types, Nevermind Paul Malignaggi Types...

This Really SUCKS for REED, Because Due SOLELY to YOUR Childish HATE for Hatton, REED is Now Badmouthing a Fighter he Liked, in his RETIREMENT Thread...

Paulie and Collazo are comparable. Except for the fact Juan gave him a rematch instead of taking his gift and running.

You're saying people shouldn't cheer a valiant losing effort? It takes two to fight. Great fights are waged between two willing combatants. Diaz was a decent lightweight champion who unified a couple of titles and did his best with what he had.

People are still trying to make RJP4P see sense re: Hatton? Why waste precious life?

So NOW U're Saying that Hatton Got a "Gift" in the Collazo Fight???....CLOSE Decision, Yes, but NOWHERE CLOSE to the Flat Out ROBBERY that Malignaggi-Diaz I was...

A gift is a gift and Collazo won that fight. He busted Hatton up. By the way you hated on Diaz on your own considering you brought his name up in this thread.

Hatton vs. Collazo was a CLOSE Fight...Malignaggi vs. Diaz I WAS NOT...There's NO Comparison btwn the 2 Fights....

The ONLY 1 Spewing "Hate" in this Thread is YOU, Because of your CHILDISH Contempt for Ricky Hatton...

He was terrible to watch...IN A FEW OF HIS FIGHTS.

You don't get to be packing the joint out if are terrible to watch from the beginning.

He slowed down as his lifestyle caught up with him. But from his pro-debut to the Tsyzu fight he was all action. Even at that, he was still trying to go forward in his last few fights.

I had Hatton winning the Collazo fight by one point because of the early KD.

I guess you missed the Oliveira fight.

Who brought Hattons name up, it wasn't me. He hasn't had a fight since 2009 and he hasn't been missed at all.

    Explain Sven Ottke, then.

If a fighter is continually successful and is promoted properly in a hometown atmosphere, they will eventually get a following, even if they are boring as all fuck. I hesitate to say it as I don't want to be shouted down with tales of valiant efforts against Cuban amateur stars and knockouts of tubby midgets, but the Klitschkos are another example of this.

this is unimportant, it does not matter who brought him up

your assertion that he was better than Hatton is one of the most ridiculous statements ever made and it crumbles to ash amidst even the most gentle scrutiny

this isn't even a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact... it's a little like trying to argue that Jerry Quarry was a better heavyweight than Larry Holmes

Wow, rj and Hatton is probably the biggest blind hate combo on this site. Way more than me and Tszyu and Ugo and Duran etc.

    Diaz better than Hatton

That's almost up there with Joppy lost because of the ring.

Could Tszyu beat Diaz with a proper ring?

There are more than 20 clinches in this round alone. I have no idea how anybody thinks he is good or entertaining.

i was at the urango fight. it was not entertaining. other fights he had were. i was never entertained by diaz unless he was getting his ass thoroughly whipped.

yet a guy who is clowned by a guy that Hatton performed an autopsy on (Malinaggi) is somehow "BETTER" than him??

yeah, makes a lot of sense

for what it's worth, Collazo would have knocked DIaz out cold
