Hatton climbs all over Marquez and stops him in 9 or 10 rounds. Marquez is the better P4P fighter but at 140 Hatton was a monster and far too strong for Marquez. Marquez lands punches, is ahead after four rounds, then Hatton's physicality wears him down.

Good matchup, but i also thing Hatton is probably a bit too strong for JMM @ 140. At the very least he could expand a lot on what Diaz was able to get done against Marquez in their first fight.

Hatton is probably too big and strong for Marquez at 140. P4P, JMM beats Hatton comfortably, though IMO

Marquez is MUCH bigger than Tszyu, and a much better fighter.

Prime Hatton completely abuses Marquez......today's Hatton the fight is a bit closer...Hatton fast feet and mugging/clinching/brawling will disable Marquez counter punches...

Given Hatton's physical, mauling style the size differential is too much for JMM to overcome. I don't think it'd be one-sided at all, though. I think it's a competitive fight that goes the distance - in favor of Hatton, but JMM gets his licks in.

Agreed. Hatton wins, but it's not a one sided thrashing. Marquez is much better at shortening his punches and fighting inside than most of the guys Ricky has mauled.
