There's some dude wailing away and Tyson and having Mike covering up and then Tyson explodes a ducking Left hook on his jaw and lights out!!

    I can't remember the opponent's name! It was pre-Championships.

Who can help a brother out?

Mack Lewis was actually in an episode of season 1 when Freamon gets the poster of Avon's match in the amateurs.

As frustrating as the 80's were at times, it was still a better time to be a heavyweight fan than now.

Now, I don't want to go all loadedgloves on it and do an edit-quote, but could I be so bold as to suggest that the 1980's were a better time to be a fan if you were American???

Nope. As much as you like to assume, I don't let stuff like that get in the way of fights and fighters I like. Hell...I was much more of a Lennox Lewis fan than I was of Bowe, Tyson or Holyfield...which kinda kicks your notion that I have some sort of US bias right in the balls.

And, by the way...you started this. Folks were just talking about an old Tyson fight and you HAD to inject your agenda into it.

Absolutely not. As usual, you are full of it. You've been using that phrase as a slam against other eras for a while now. But at least you didn't use that tired "Halycon Days" bit. That got old fast.

Halcyon Days is 1995, Foreman vs Moorer. Stay with it son, stay with it.

Also...... have you marked down as being Pro-Haye.

    Correct???

Based on what? I think Haye sucks. This fight is a mismatch (despite the hype) and Wlad should destroy him. Sounds like you are assuming again.

I'm not much of a Wlad fan either, but I would like to see Wlad really take it to Haye and shut his yap for good. I don't think we will see that, but it would be nice.

But enough of this, there is a topic for Wlad-Haye.

Vitali is a good fighter. He's better than Amir Khan, the Pride of Palookistan. Sorry, Baluchistan.

Khan isn't from Balochistan. Your geography needs work.

Since I'm not dumb enough to judge fighters entirely based on their ethnic background, I can go ahead and say that I don't think Khan is that good either. He's probably barely better than Vitali, though I'm sure he has a lot more heart.
