What do you think of the accusations against Manny???? In my opinion , the press conference has been on Monday for a reason...........no chance for last minute stunts. Next stop is the weigh in.
Wlad: "It's hot air, back and forth, on JUly 2nd, its all going to be all me. Haye has crossed the line, boxing is a dangerous game, Haye has placed a shadow on the sport, and I will give him a reality rehab on July 2nd.....Haye is disrespectful, he acts like a Diva,I was embarassed to sit near him. I hope he won't be late for the fight, some reality rehabilitation will be good for him. I am worried about David Haye. Its way too early for Haye. Too early to be pumped up. There are still 5 days to go. Then its Klitschko time. I don't respect him as a human, I do respect him as a fighter, I will neither underestimate nor overestimate him. He says he has something special for me....I am ready for it. I don't know about this referee issue. I am preparing for the fight. The real fight. He can imagine what he wants to. Klitschko time is coming on Saturday night. Actuality is coming. Not just reality. Actuality. I've been to the UK. I met a lot of UK fans, boxing is a British sport, a sport of gentlemen, I am disappointed with how Haye talks and walks, reality rehab is coming for David Haye, you guys will have an exciting fight and I am looking forward to the fight" Wlad has #50 written on his left hand. ::
:: It's intriguing, this injection of this Paddy Fitzpatrick character into the mix. {Sky erroneously referred to him as Paddy Fitzgerald} According to Haye, Paddy FitzHaye knows that Manny likes to wrap hands illegally. Maybe Haye is planning a bit of that. Haye talks so much shit that he could claim he was going to wear red gloves on Saturday and I wouldn't give it too much notice. I expect him to run and try to lure Wlad onto something big. He spent large parts of the Valuev and Ruiz fights backing up, so that won't be new.
Slice said it before and it's true. If hate comes out fighting the way he did vs valuev, he's in deep, deep trouble.
That's why I like Wlad. If I had a bunch of children under my tutelage, and they wanted to know whom they would make their example, Wlad would be the man, every time. When he says that not just reality, but actuality, is going to come to pass, what he is saying is that eventually, it's just him and Haye. And then and only then will the totality of the situation reveal itself to Haye. Jesus can woo the crowd, turn tricks, make water into wine, have everyone lapping it up.......but Golgotha awaits. There is a point in life where debts fall due and music must be faced.
"Hate" :: The truth of the matter is that neither man has fought another like his current adversary. Valuev is not Wlad. Haye is not Sanders.
Your gayness is really getting out of hand. Let's put things in perspective: he's fighting David Haye.
Wlad is alot funnier than I originally thought. I could watch him do interviews all day and the way goes into detail describing certain things is also fascinating. Haye is just annoying now and repetitive. Once Wlad knocks him out, I do not want to hear the name David Haye ever again.
Regardless of what happens in the Haye vs Wlad fight...Haye cannot beat Vitali. I was just speaking with a friend of mine and he made a great point: If Haye beats Wlad, especially by KO, a Haye vs Vitali fight would be ENORMOUS!! So it's a win win for me now. Wlad wins...that loud mouthed bragging fuck has been beaten up. Haye wins...and we get the biggest HW fight since Lewis-Tyson.
Yeah but his birthday is coming up......:wack: Besides, according to Sky, if Haye beats Wlad, he will return to England as the "Undisputed Champ" having taken the "Russians" belts. No need therefore to fight the other "Russian" surely. ::
If Haye loses, I would bet my bottom dollar that he is back in the ring in 2-3 years time, following a messy divorce and his re-emerging desire to rid the world of robots....
:: Speaking of "Russian". It occurred to me that this build up is reminiscent of Rocky IVs Apollo Creed vs Ivan Drago. The size difference is about the same. The smaller black guy is a flamboyant showman and arrogant and doing a great deal of talking and insulting and the 6'7" "Russian" is relatively quiet but with anger and agression swelling up inside him waiting to explode. Who knows...could result in a similar outcome.
That's how its been advertised in the UK- Klitschko as a scientifically enhanced Machine, Haye as a guy in a grey trackie running in the streets and up steps, hammering sides of beef while Wlad is hooked up to machines. Wlad isn't actually doing anything other than pushups, with the rest added in CGI style.
I said the exact same thing to some part-time boxing fans in the pub last night... :: When this fight was signed, I gave Haye about a 1 in 3 chance of winning. Wlad has a terrible chin and Haye hits fast and hard with the right hand. However, I honestly think now that Haye is going to get absolutely splattered. He has, I reckon, four rounds in which to win this fight. If he can land something big, and early, then he can win no doubt. But if he doesn't do that, however, he is likely to cop a severe beating IMO. He has absolutely no stamina whatsoever so by the fifth he will be running away and getting knackered whilst doing it. He will also have to deal with one of the best HW jabs in history, repeatedly hitting him in the face. And Haye has an awful chin himself- pretty much every time someone has hit him flush he has gone over and the difference between being hit by a guy like Mormeck and guy like Wlad is enormous. The closer this fight gets, the more it resembles Hamed-Barrera IMO. You can see that Haye is actully bricking it as hubris begins to stare him in the face. When he loses, and I expect him to lose BIG, I doubt that we'll see or hear anything from his fat, loud mouth ever again. MTF
http://www1.skysports.com/haye/story/21234/7007697 Manny Steward has hit back at the claims that he wrapped Wladimir Klitschko's hands illegally. "I have wrapped hands all over the world. I give clinics on wrapping hands, so why on earth would I do that" The claims were made by Paddy Fitzgerald, part of Lamon Brewster's team for their 2007 rematch in which the Ukrainian avenged an earlier loss with a sixth-round stoppage. Fitzgerald, who arrived at today's press conference as part of David Haye's entourage, walked up to the podium and confronted Steward with the accusations, sparking ugly scenes, with security having to step in. The legendary trainer is alleged to have taped directly onto Klitschko's hands, which is against WBO regulations. Fitzgerald demanded he explain himself but Steward, who turns 70 next week, flatly denied any wrongdoing. "Why would I do that? I know you can't tape the hands, of course I do," he told skysports.com. "I have been wrapping hands for years; longer than I care to remember. I have wrapped hands all over the world. "I give clinics on wrapping hands, so why on earth would I do that?" Fitzgerald admits he did not mention it at the time, but got up out of his seat and demanded the trainer shake his hand after Steward, Klitschko and Haye had all had their say at the Hamburg-Messe centre.
I'm with this guy....LMFAO <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9CAvEa8mCRw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
No idea, but it's facking brilliant :giggle: The way he started the video had me on the floor nearly :giggle:
<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mEWg0RNe0hM?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mEWg0RNe0hM?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object> This is either the greatest call of all time. Or utter horseshit.
Wlad is certainly not ''unprepared'' for this fight. He'd have studied haye's fights, despite the mocking, sometimes. Wlad will know what Haye's going to come out and try to do.
