Makes you wonder, if he's released from the UFC, can he still get picked up by Strikeforce?:dunno: Bellator should make a move on Nate. He could make some exciting matchups for them.
oh, he had elevated testosterone from therapy ordered by his physician. i guess his levels were too high. i wonder why white fired him though.
This is ridiculous, soon enough, all UFC fighter will be on hormone replacement therapy. I just can believe that Marquardt, with his god like physique, doens,t produce enough testosterone naturally.
the thing is, when you take an anabolic steroid, your balls basically stop producing testosterone on their own. This is a fact. There are many former bodybuilders who are on HRT because their body never started making testosterone again after using steroids. To me, it's as clear as day. You have guys in their primes getting HRT? These guys are suffering the effects of long term steroid use.
My guess, based on him being popped before, is that Nate is a long time user that is suffering the effects of low testosterone as a result. So it looks like he basically refused to quit with the TRT. I've gotta say good riddance.
That's basically the only way an athlete in his prime would suffer from low testosterone. Severe and repeated weight cutting his said to be a factor too. So basically, you get this if you aubuse of the 2 biggest cancer of the sport. And as a reward, you can dope legally
Lately, I haven't been bench pressing my usual 600lbs. I must be low in testosterone. I don't know how this happened, but my doctor has recommended Testosterone Replacement Therapy---you know, the kind that Randy "The Natural" Couture was on when the UFC was sucking his ass last year or the year before.
They announced during one of the telecasts that he was on hormone replacement therapy. I don't have all the UFC broadcasts on hand, but I could have sworn either Goldberg or Rogan mentioned it. So I dug a bit further, and now I'm reading that Nevada has only okayed it for two fighters: Todd Duffee and Dan Henderson.
http://www.mmascoops.com/news.php?page=/193372059 Randy “The Natural†Couture has been quoted as saying that there’s a “Steroid witch hunt†with him in the crosshairs. ONE DAY before UFC 74, Joe Rogan, the UFC’s color commentator, added fuel to this fire when he did a guest spot on ESPNEWS to promote the Pay-Per-View event by claiming that Couture had undergone “hormone replacement therapy†and applauded what modern science could do for older fighters.
HRT shouldn't be legal, if you can't naturaully produce the hormones required to do it, you shouldn't be doing it.
LOL..... Rogan makes mention of it and it's fact despite Couture never failing a test or admitting to anything. There's a word for that.... Damn it, what's the word again........ It's on the tip of my tongue..... Oh yeah, it's BULLSHIT....
Agree. If your body ain't naturally producing enough testosterone, guess what???? You ain't supposed to be an athlete. There are plenty of skinny kids in high school that would love to play football but realize they aren't big enough so they DON'T play. I guess in the world of Duffee, Henderson or Sonnen, these kids would start TRT. LOL..
