No, though he did lose to Dog Jones at 180 odd and his 175lb opposition isn't a speckle of fecal on Charles'.

Primo Carnera might have been unbeatable at 280lbs.

Dudes would be dying of heart failure trying to stop him.

Joe Louis at 280 would look like, and move like, Markus Ruhl

I like the way all the threads on this (and all other boxing sites) ar all fancy wording for "who was the best at xxx lbs. all time?".

ex 1987 Chavez at 135 is unbeatable therefore he would have beaten 76 Duran,98 Mayweather etc... making him the best 135 of all time.

I saw Markus Ruhl at the Olympia Expo a few years back. You can actually hear the guy breathing while he walks. He sounded like a friggin' steam engine.

Yep....He did a DVD called "Made in Germany" where he shows the stuff he eats. He would be introducing his rice and then would pause to catch his breath........

Thing to be careful about with the topic is the tendency to over-estimate a fighter's ability based on wins over inferior competition.

I know I've used this example before, but consider the Harlem Globe Trotters - the basketball team that goes on tour, and humiliates its opponents, with tricks and amazing stunts on the court. You think that shit would work against a pro team? Or even a top college team? Hell no. Rather, they rely on shitty competition, whether they've been built up or not, to pull off their schtick.
